CLAN has a new president

It is with great pleasure and honour that I confirm that I was elected the new President of CLAN (Common Law Association of Notaries) and formerly known as WON (World Organisation of Notaries) at a directors’ teleconference on 25 March 2020.  My term is two years and I took over from Leo Mangan of Ireland who has been President for the last two years.

CLAN wishes to be more active in the ensuing year and the other directors are as follows:

  • Brian O’Brien of Ireland – Vice-President
  • Ken Sherk of British Columbia, Canada
  • Anthony Northey of England and Wales
  • Leo Mangan of Ireland
  • Tom Hoyle of England and Wales

There is a lot of work to do so I will communicate further in due course.  At least there is a bit of good news during this lockdown period and I wish each and every one of you good health and keep safe.

With kind regards

Stewart Germann
