WARNING TO NEW ZEALAND NOTARIES
Recently it was brought to the attention of the Society that an Australian Land Registry document which was signed by the transferor on 4 June 2014 was witnessed by Fiona Ashcroft, Notary Public of Auckland, New Zealand. I have seen the stamp which says exactly that together with the printed words "Fiona Ashcroft" and her signature.
Please be advised that Fiona Ashcroft is not a Notary Public of Auckland, New Zealand, is not known to the Department of Internal Affairs and is not known to the Faculty Office in the UK. Therefore, the document is fraudulent so if anyone sees any documents in the name of Fiona Ashcroft would they please notify the Society without delay.
